OpenVideo

OpenVideo is a 1EdTech standard for ingesting captured video into a central media management system. It defines an XML interface that covers the complex flows lecture capture produces — multiple simultaneous streams, offline recording with background upload, metadata extracted from presentation slides, and editing — so an institution can plug any capture technology into any supporting media platform without a bespoke integration project.
