TrustEd Apps Data Privacy Rubric

The TrustEd Apps Data Privacy Rubric sets out what an edtech application's privacy policy and terms of service are expected to cover — how policy changes are announced, what data is collected and who owns it, how it is secured, what is shared with third parties, and how advertising and tracking are handled. Unlike the other TrustEd Apps rubrics, this one is not a supplier self-assessment: 1EdTech uses it to vet and certify applications, and certified products carry the Data Privacy Certification seal in the TrustEd Apps Directory.
