Learning Impact Korea 2026
Context for AI, Trust for Learning
- When
- Where
- Seoul EdTech SoftLab, Konkuk University
AI tutors are starting to help students learn. But how much student information should an AI be allowed to see? And which of the many edtech apps used in schools can be trusted?
These are the questions 1EdTech, the global education standards community of more than 1,100 institutions and companies, is working on hardest right now. Three weeks after its Technical Congress in Milwaukee, 1EdTech's CEO and Chief Architect bring the answers to Seoul in person. Much of it is being presented in Korea for the first time. English sessions have live Korean captions.
What you will see first
- New rules for sharing student context with AI: the six principles of TPLC, a proposed standard for giving AI only the student information a school allows.
- Security for AI agents: what 1EdTech security requirements mean when AI agents connect to school systems.
- The next TAMS: the platform more than 600 US districts and universities use to choose apps by their privacy and security results, now with about 14,000 apps.
- 1EdTech Korea Co-Labs, live: Korea's national curriculum and job competency standards published free as machine-readable standard data (CASE), an AI-built curriculum knowledge map, side-by-side comparison with US and EU skills frameworks, and a bilingual data dictionary across 12 standards.
- Digital badges: international governance and ecosystem models, and what they mean for Korea.
Who should come
- Edtech founders and technical leads: how schools abroad are changing the way they choose products, and what to prepare in the next twelve months.
- Schools, education offices and universities: how to protect student data and choose trustworthy products when adopting AI.
- Education data and AI researchers: free curriculum data and a data dictionary you can use right away.
